Artist Statement:

During the pandemic I was fascinated by the view through windows or curtains and doors, expressing the social distancing and the removed feeling of being further away from people and loved ones. I also was attracted to making studies from the Dutch Golden Age Masters, and in turn made many research pieces and some paintings.
