Artist Statement:

During 2015, I was enrolled in George Brown College in Toronto for a foundation year in Art & Design. Half way through there was a design competition to create wallet designs for Dynomighty.com, where the winner would have their design printed and placed on their online store.

I designed a wallet called Zebropus, which was inspired by London,UK, street art and featured a Zebra with tentacles on its face. I drew each side of the design with pen on paper, then digitally coloured each of the panels. The interior spread features eight tentacles picking up money and bags of coins. I included the face on the front, and its rear on the rear, in an intentionally humourous fashion.

I won the competition and had the design printed.
